Confidentiality and Privacy: We uphold strict confidentiality standards in accordance with state laws and ethical guidelines established by professional bodies such as the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Exceptions to confidentiality are outlined in the informed consent document provided to clients.

Cultural Sensitivity: Hawaii is a culturally diverse state, and we recognize and respect the unique backgrounds, beliefs, and values of our clients. Our therapists strive to provide culturally sensitive and inclusive care, honoring the cultural context of each individual's experiences.

In the event of an emergency or if you are in immediate danger, please dial 911 or contact local emergency services. Additionally, Hawaii residents can reach out to crisis hotlines such as the Crisis Line of Hawaii by dialing 988.

Informed Consent: Clients are encouraged to actively participate in the therapy process and provide informed consent before beginning treatment. This includes discussing treatment goals, expectations, risks, and benefits, as well as any questions or concerns about therapy.

Fees and Payment: Our fee structure is outlined in the financial agreement provided to clients. We offer various payment options and may assist clients in navigating insurance reimbursement processes where applicable.

Client Rights: Clients have the right to autonomy, dignity, and respect throughout the therapeutic relationship. If at any point you feel uncomfortable or have concerns about your therapy experience, we encourage you to communicate openly with your therapist or contact the Hawaii DCCA for assistance.
